Every day is unique<\/h2>\n

We take pride in offering you a local mountain guide who knows all the secret and fantastic slopes that Slovenia has to offer. Our guide has extensive experience in freeriding and a deep understanding of the conditions in the Slovenian mountains.<\/p>\n

What we can confirm about this trip is that we have specified dates for departure, and you will be accommodated in a lovely hotel in the city of Bled, Slovenia. A new hunt for the perfect snow<\/h2>\n

There are numerous opportunities to find fantastic off-piste skiing just 30 minutes away from the hotel. However, please note that transportation time to reach the best snow areas may vary depending on weather conditions and can be up to 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n

We tested this concept in the Innsbruck area<\/a> in 2021, and it was a tremendous success. We achieved exactly what we aimed for – finding the best possible snow for our guests. You can read reviews from that trip here.<\/p>\n

Ski Areas<\/h2>\n

We will focus on the Julian Alps<\/strong>, spanning Slovenia and Italy. While the region may not be as well-known for skiing as some other areas in the Alps, the Julian Alps offer several ski resorts with fantastic freeride opportunities and fewer skiers in the off-piste. Below are some of the areas we will explore.<\/p>\n

Kranjska Gora Ski Resort<\/strong> (Slovenia): Located in Slovenia near the border with Austria and Italy, Kranjska Gora is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the Julian Alps and has hosted numerous World Cup skiing events.<\/p>\n

Vogel Ski Resort<\/strong> (Slovenia): Situated in Triglav National Park, Vogel Ski Resort offers a stunning view of Lake Bohinj and the surrounding Julian Alps. With varied terrain, it is a popular destination for freeride skiers and snowboarders.<\/p>\n

Sella Nevea Ski Resort<\/strong> (Italy): Located on the Italian side of the Julian Alps, near the Slovenian border, Sella Nevea is a smaller, picturesque ski resort. In addition to its many off-piste opportunities, Sella Nevea is known for its beautiful natural surroundings.<\/p>\n

Kanin-Sella Nevea Ski Resort<\/strong> (Slovenia\/Italy): Positioned on the border between Slovenia and Italy, Kanin is on the Slovenian side and is renowned for its significant snowfall each year.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\t

Participant Skill Level<\/h2>\n

To participate in this trip, experience with off-piste skiing is required. You do not need to have multiple ski seasons under your belt, but you should have at least tried skiing off-piste beside the slopes.<\/p>\n

We will use the lifts as much as possible to access the best off-piste skiing, but expect that we will do some ski touring once or twice a day to access more opportunities. The length of the tours may vary depending on the snow conditions but will typically not exceed 500 meters of elevation per day, spread across 3-6 tours. If anyone prefers a dedicated ski touring trip, we will organize several tours throughout the season.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\t
