After many years in the beautiful mountains of North Macedonia, we have now arranged several e-mountain bike trips this year. Come and experience some of North Macedonia’s most amazing areas, beautiful nature and tasteful gastronomy. We drive around the mountains, visit the locals and sleep in cozy and charming hotels around the mountain and in the valley.

We ride an e-mountain bike, not to make it easy, but because that way we can reach much further around the mountain and experience more in a comfortable maner. E-mountain biking still requires strength and still provides good training, but we have the opportunity to ride up to 60 km. per day instead of just half.

We bicycle for 3 days and experience Mavrovo National Park, Galicica National Park, Mount Jablanca and Mount Vodno. E-mountain bike in North Macedonia is for you who love nature experiences and want the mountains for yourself.

What can I expect to experience on the trip?
Mavrovo National Park offers small villages, beautiful views of Lake Mavrovo and the old Mavrovo Church. In addition, we cycle through rocky forest, streams, pine and oak forest. On the trip in Mavrovo National Park we can also expect to see large flocks of sheep. For lunch, rare North Macedonian dishes are served in a quiet location in the mountains.

In Galicia National Park, we start at an altitude of 1100 meters and drive through partly forested rocky roads. On the trip we will drive through the most beautiful landscape where there are views of Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid. We will cycle past old authentic houses and end the day with real North Macedonian food, watching the sunset.

The journey on the Jablanca mountain begins with a narrow and steep path that leads us into an old pine forest, where we pass small holiday homes and some giant trees that can make you feel “small”. We drive past small lakes, fields with golden mountains and a spectacular view of Lake Ohrid. Like the other North Macedonian tours, this tour includes a real North Macedonian gastronomic experience.

Our trip on the Vodno mountain starts in Skopje city and offers a not as steep journey as the others. Here you can choose between easy paved roads or small demanding ladders. From many of the tracks it will be possible to take a cable car from Vodne to the Krstovar peak, where the Krstovar cross was built. One of the world’s largest and highest Christian crosses.

In North Macedonia, we ride the Turbo Levo Comp, which are good quality bikes.

The trip to North Macedonia

The flight is not included in the price. When you fly to North Macedonia, you fly to the capital Skopje, where we pick up and drop off. From Skopje you will be picked up and it takes 2 hours to the hotel – transport takes place around the clock, but call or write before you book your flight ticket if you are unsure of anything.

Day 1 – Arrival day:

Our driver is ready at Skopje Airport to drive you to the hotel in Mavrovo National Park, where our first overnight stay takes place.

Day 2:

After breakfast, our tour around Mavrovo National Park begins (42 km, 700 m uphill, 1050 m descent, a total of 4 hours biking).

There will be lunch in the mountains and a transport to the next hotel.

Day 3:

After breakfast you will be transported from the hotel in Ohrid to The Village of Velestovo, where the day’s tour begins – We drive around Galicica National Park (52 km, 1300 m ascent, 1600 m descent, 7.5 hours drive).

Lunch takes place in the mountains, then we drive to our hotel.

Day 4:

After breakfast you will be transported to Village Labunishta, where the day’s tour begins – We drive on Jablanica mountain (25 km, 1300 m uphill, 1300 m descent, 5 hours drive).

Lunch takes place in the mountains, then we drive to our hotel.

Day 5 – Departure day:

Breakfast at the hotel. Until departure, there is the opportunity for sightseeing in Skopje or half a day on e-mountain bike in Vodno Mountain with subsequent lunch.

Finally, there is a transfer to the airport in Skopje, depending on which departure you travel with.
