Our new family-friendly surf camp is located in the beach town of Moliets 2 hours from Bordeaux and 1 hour from Biarritz in the south-west of France also called Biscay. The surf camp is located near the beach on the outskirts of the city in quiet and beautiful surroundings. Moliets is the symbol of a French “surf town” and we dare to promise that it will be difficult to travel home again. There are plenty of cozy restaurants, cafes and shops here. The beach is completely clean and has the best waves.
Experience one of the many beautiful sunsets and feel the warm evening air with a glass of wine in hand. A little south of Moliets is Biarritz, which is the city where the inventor of today’s surfing “Duke Kahanamoko from Hawaii” introduced surfing to Europe. The reason Duke chose that particular area, you’ll understand when you’ve been there!

Saturday – Arrival Day
You arrive at the surf camp, where our helpful staff welcomes you and shows you around the camp. If you want, you can take a promenade through the town and down to the beach and get sand between the towers. Get to know the area and experience the unique French surfing atmosphere. In the evening there is a joint dinner and fun.
It is arrival after 4 p.m.
Days at the Camp
The day starts with a healthy, delicious breakfast, after which you pack and head down to the beach. On the beach it is time for surfing, surfing lessons, relaxation and free play.
Use the afternoon to experience the many opportunities in the area such as markets, visit wineries, go to the adventure park, stand on a longboard, day trip to Biarritz, take another surf trip or have coal at the camp – there are plenty of activities for children and adults see them all during activities. In the evening we enjoy food and possibly a glass of wine from the many fantastic vineyards in the area.
Saturday – Departure Day
We start with our lovely breakfast. If time permits, you can take a quick surf trip. Then we say goodbye and thank you for a fantastic trip. We hope to see you again next year at our family-friendly surf camp in Moliets France.

Moliets is a cozy surf beach town located in southwestern France. The area is known for its beautiful conifers, long sandy beaches and of course its excellent wines. Our surf camp is located just 800 meters from the beach, between the pine trees which provide both protection from wind and sun during the hot summer months.
The city has many cozy restaurants, cafes and lots of surfing atmosphere.
Moliets is 154 km from Bordeaux, 78 km from Biarritz.
The classic bell-shaped glamping tents are very spacious and designed for 2 people. Choose between a double bed or two single beds. All beds are raised from the ground and the mattresses have memory foam (allergy-free) and are very comfortable.
Families with one child can choose to share a tent. All tents have a bottom so that harmless insects cannot enter.
All tents have lights and power for charging modern devices. You can bring your own bedclothes or rent them at Moliet’s surf camp.
It is a magical experience to stay and spend the night in a cotton tent.
Overnight in a luxurious tipi and enjoy the good surfing life. Each tipi has a terrace, wooden floors and electricity for lighting and charging modern appliances. Head height of 3 meters and insect protection set a high standard for sleeping in a tent.
The tipis have the option of both a double bed and a single bed. All beds have memory foam (allergy-free) and provide maximum comfort. You can bring your own bedclothes or rent them at Moliet’s surf camp. The large private terrace offers the possibility to disconnect and store the surf board below.
