In our mountain holiday to Saalbach-Hinterglemm, we have arranged a wide range of activities during the trip. In addition to that, you also get the area’s so-called “Joker Card“, which gives you access to a sea of fun activities, where you can, e.g. can go rafting, climbing, play mini golf, get guided hikes, free access to tennis courts, and not least free access to the mountain courses/lifts and much, much more.
We will accommodate you at our super cozy Hotel Pinzgauerhof, where the Danish hotel host Mark and our guide will take good care of you. Besides being perhaps the nicest hotel host, Mark also loves being in the mountains himself and spends most of his free time doing different things.
You can either choose to stay with us for a whole week or half a week, so the trip can well be combined with a trip to southern Europe.

The hotel is decorated in true Saalbach style and is really cozy. The hotel host is Danish, and his name is Mark, and he will take good care of you. In addition to being the friendliest hotel host, Mark is also keen on all the activities available in the mountains and therefore knows the Saalbach area like the back of his hand. So, finally ask him for advice; he loves to help.
The hotel is right by the lifts and has an outdoor bar and pump track. The ideal place to enjoy lunch or just relax in the afternoon after a good day in the mountains, while the kids can burn off the last bit of energy on the pump track.
Our single room with a balcony is the ideal choice if you’re travelling solo and want comfort and peace.
The room features a single bed, a wardrobe, a small desk with seating, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The room size is 13 m².

Saturday – Arrival Day:
- You’ll arrive in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, where your Danish guide and host, Mark, will welcome you and help you check in at the hotel.
- After that, you’ll receive your own “Joker Card.”
- The rest of the day is yours to plan however you like – maybe use your Joker Card for a fun local activity or simply relax at the hotel. It’s totally up to you
*The Joker Card is included in the price and gives you free access to buses, lifts, and the water park in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, among other perks.
We’ve planned two different activities per day as a starting point. On some days, you’ll need to choose between them; on others, you might have time for both. All activities are included in the price – except rafting (and bike rental for MTB and e-MTB is not included).
Sunday – Family rafting/MTB downhill:
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Let the adventure begin! It will be possible to choose the following activities:
Family rafting (add-on)
Wearing a wetsuit and helmet, we rush down the river Salzach, where a 12 km long route in the rushing water awaits us. There is room for 8 people in each rubber boat + a professional instructor. The trip takes approximately. 4.5 hours in total, of which 1.5 hours are in the water. To participate, it is a requirement that you can swim, and children must be at least 140 cm tall and 10 years old. Rafting is in Zell am See, but you can take a bus if you’re not travelling by car. This activity is an optional extra.
MTB in the mountains with a Danish guide
Most people think that the most fun part of mountain biking is going downhill. This activity focuses only on this. Mark takes you on a 2-hour guided tour, where you get a lot of wind on your cheeks and adrenaline in your body. Children and beginners are recommended to start at the learn to ride course (MTB rental not included in the price)
Monday – E-bike tour (Wetterkreuz tour)/Käpt’n Hook water park
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Another day, and the adventure is just outside the door. The following activities will be available:
E-bike tour
Saalbach-Hinterglemm is i.a. Known as one of the best cycling destinations in the Alps, you will experience challenges and routes to suit the whole family. On this trip, we ride E-mountain bikes, so we get around the many trails easily and elegantly. In order to participate, it is a requirement that you can cycle safely. Children must be at least 145 cm tall and 10 years old to participate. (E-MTB rental not included in the price)
Käpt’n Hook adventure pool
Here, there is free play for those who love water. Various slides, climbing nets, and a spa pad are available for free use, as long as the energy levels are sufficient.
Tuesday – Kodok Mountain expedition/Minigolf tournament
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- What are you most interested in? Kodok mountain expedition, a classic mini golf tournament, or maybe both?
Kodok mountain
An expedition for the whole family, where we combine hiking with adventure. On this journey, you have to go through 10 different puzzles/activities, which give you the opportunity to win great prizes if you do well. The expedition takes 3 hours.
Mini golf tournament
This activity does not require much introduction. You can never go wrong in the city with a classic miniature golf tournament.
Wednesday – resting day
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- The day is too free for everyone. You can, among other things, “hunt for altitude meters” on some of the many hiking trails or try some of the activities on your Joker Card. Relaxation at the hotel and also an alternative, if you just want to relax.
- Departure day for those who are there for ½ week.
Thursday – Hiking/MTB downhill
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Today, there is both the opportunity to chase altitude meters, as we are going on a hiking tour, and you can also take another MTB tour.
Hike
The tour is free and for everyone. We will hike, enjoy nature, and get some sweat on our foreheads. We take to the heights to get the best possible view from the top of the Austrian Alps.

Friday – Montelino’s adventure trail
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Today, there’s the option to hike the 3-kilometer adventure trail. In the evening, anyone who feels like it can join for a dinner out in town (please note that this dinner is not included in the price).

This trail is around 3 kilometers long and takes about an hour and a half to complete. Along the way, there are various tasks to solve — and a chance to win great prizes!
Group Dinner in Town
This is a social evening for those who want to join. We’ll head out for a group dinner in town (not included in the package price).
