Offpiste & Touring | Sunnmøre | Norway
Join us in Sunnmøre, one of Norway’s most iconic ski regions, where steep mountains meet deep fjords and the terrain opens up for big off-piste and touring adventures.
Here, we combine lift-assisted touring with classic summit tours – adjusting each day to the conditions, terrain, and flow of the group.
Sunnmøre is one of Norway’s most iconic mountain areas, where quiet fjords lie beneath snow-covered peaks and the landscape opens up for big off-piste and touring opportunities.
On this trip, we combine lift-assisted touring in Stranda with classic ski touring routes in the surrounding area, giving us more time on skis and access to bigger lines. This creates a varied programme where we chase the best conditions day by day.
We start each morning with breakfast at the hotel, prepare our packed lunch, and head into the mountains together with local certified guides. Every day is adapted to the group, the weather, and the snow conditions, ensuring we get the most out of each valley and each slope. Expect calm moments, beautiful views, good conversations, and long descents all the way back towards the fjord.
This trip is designed for skiers with some off-piste and touring experience who want to combine skiing with activities, nature, and presence. You don’t need to be an expert – but you should be comfortable moving in varied terrain and motivated for both the climb and the descent.

The program is indicative and may change due to snow, weather, or visibility. Each day, the guide selects the best possible terrain based on the current conditions and the group’s overall level.
Sunnmøre is located on the west coast of Norway and forms part of the Sunnmøre Alps – an area known for sharp peaks, wide valleys, and fjords cutting deep between the mountains.
The result is a unique mix of alpine terrain and coastal landscape that you won’t find in many other places.
The area receives snow coming in from the sea, which often means good and stable conditions through much of the season. At the same time, the terrain changes quickly over short distances, giving plenty of options to adjust the day according to weather and snow.
Stranda is a small mountain town located right in the heart of the region.
From here, we have fast access to both Stranda Ski Resort and many of the classic ski touring peaks nearby.
A calm base surrounded by mountains, with the fjord lying just below.
We stay at Dreges Hotell in Stranda – a charming, locally owned hotel with a long history and a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
