Road trip | Canada
Travel with us on a road trip along “The Powder Highway” in Canada and experience world-class powder snow and off-piste!
Book nowWe love nature experiences and for us Canada has always been high on our “bucket list”, simply because we believe the Rockies are one of the best off-piste mountain ranges in the world. Most people have heard of champagne powder snow and that’s exactly what Canada offers.
We have organized road trips to Canada for the past 5 years and will of course go again this year. We get to visit 5 of our favorite areas along The Powder Highway (Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, Red Mountain, Whitewater and Fernie!). We have once again collaborated with local mountain guides, who both make sure that we do well on the country roads, but also in the mountains.
Travel with us around Canada’s famous “Powder Highway” in our favorite areas and experience world-class skiing. During 10 (ski) days, we drive around in a minibus to our absolute favorite ski resorts for off-piste.
Our off-piste road trip in Canada is for those who want to stand in the famous Canadian champagne powder snow and experience some of Canada’s most fun and crazy ski resorts, for those who want a real adventure.

There’s a reason why the off-piste region is called “The Powder Highway”, because each year the areas receive an average of over 10 meters of snow. The snow is usually drier and airier than the one we know from the Alps. It is also called champagne powder snow.
On the trip we will stop at the ski resorts of: Fernie, WhiteWater/Nelson, Revelstoke and Kicking Horse.

Canada has long been on my wish list when it comes to off-piste skiing. Having a skilled guide with you on the entire trip is just so good and super efficient. He took us along the off-piste routes that we would never otherwise have been in, while always having 100% control over safety.
Personally, I liked Revelstoke the most, but it was also where we had the best snow.
The trip can definitely be recommended if you want to see some of the best off-piste areas near Calgary.
