Experience an adrenaline rush that is hard to compare anything else with, in the beautiful Selkirk and Monachee mountains in Revelstoke. For many years, powder-hungry skiers and snowboarders have made the pilgrimage to Revelstoke, which has 500,000 acres of open and very varied terrain, deep powder and not to forget their old forest which is a playground for anyone that has a penchant for adventure. In addition, Revelstoke has North America’s most vertical terrain.

We work with some of the most passionate mountain guides in Revelstoke, who know the area better than anyone else and have been responsible for heli-skiing since 1978. They make sure we find the most delicious powder snow, the best slopes and not least provide us with the most amazing freeriding experience.

On our heli-ski & off-piste trip to Revelstoke, it is not only the trip down the mountain that is a unique experience, but also the helicopter ride to the top of the mountain. For many, the helicopter ride is at least as great an experience as the actual skiing down the off-piste. On the helicopter ride up, there is the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature and get an overview of the next ride downhill.

From Revelstoke we have access to both the Monashes and Selkirk Mountain Range, both of which are areas known for deep powder, off-piste skiing between trees as well as alpine and glacier terrain. Revelstoke gets up to 6 meters of snow each year, so there is plenty of powder for everyone. The safety on this trip is of course top notch, as on all of our travels. There will be a safety course on arrival and the guides will ensure your safety on the mountain throughout the trip.

To participate in the trip to Revelstoke, you should be in good physical shape as well as have experience of skiing in powder snow. However, it is not a requirement that you are an expert or professional freerider to participate in the journey.

Heli-skiing in Canada is for the skier who chases world-class off-piste skiing

Our trip to Revelstoke includes 4 nights at the nicest lodge and 3 days with in-between 9 to 15 heli-lifts per day. A total of guaranteed 9.000 vertical altitude meters spread over the 3 days. It is possible to get up till 12.000. Heli-skiing is an extraordinary way to experience and explore off-piste skiing. You are transported exclusively up the mountain by a helicopter and are therefore not dependent on lifts or any other form of transport.

The trip to Canada

The flight is not included in the price, but can be selected as an add on. However, it is easy and relatively inexpensive to get there. We recommend that you fly to Kelowna. The arrival transfer is not includes, but you can read more about the bus connections here.

It is also possible to fly to Calgary.

Day 1 – Arrival day:

1: Arrival at Kelowna.
2: Transport to Revelstoke (not included in the price)
3: Welcome dinner at our hotel.

Day 2-4:

There will be breakfast at 7:00am, afterwards we will meet the guide, get a safety review and a course in using our avalanche equipment.

10:00am we are ready to leave in the helicopter.
At noon, 12.30pm lunch is served in the mountains.
4pm we return to the hotel, where there will be time for chill before dinner.

Day 5:

After breakfast we pack up and drive to the airport.

This was the wildest and most fantastic skiing experience I’ve ever had! I really hope I get to experience it again. The feeling the first time you sit in the middle of Canada’s mountains and feel the helicopter land right next to you and pick you up is indescribable and must be experienced 🙂 The whole trip was extremely well-coordinated and without any challenges. It’s clear that both the mountain guides and pilots are really skilled and well-trained, and I never felt like safety was being compromised. At the same time, the hotel run by the heliskiing company is perfect for the purpose, and both meals, après-ski, spa, and ski rental are in the same place. There’s no need to bring your own skis since the included ski rental includes the latest backcountry ski models from top brands. I would recommend everyone considering it to take this trip. Of course, you can’t guarantee the weather in the mountains, but even when the weather doesn’t allow you to go all the way to the top, there’s excellent skiing to be found, and the snow quality was impeccable.
