It’s also worth noting that avalanche risks in North Macedonia are generally lower than in areas like the Alps, thanks to two key factors:

• Grass-covered terrain under the snow

What to Expect During Your Trip 

Our North Macedonia trips include full board and transport, meaning all you need to do is to arrive at Skopje Airport – after that, we handle everything. 

During your stay, you’ll be based at a charming hotel in Popova Sapka. Each day starts with a hearty breakfast, followed by a safety briefing. Guests are then divided into catski-groups before heading up into the breathtaking mountain range, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and valleys where you’ll spend the day carving pristine off-piste runs. 

Lunch is enjoyed either on the slopes or in one of the cozy mountain cabins, depending on the weather. In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel, where the bar and spa await you. The day concludes with a group dinner full of laughter and stories from the day’s adventures.

How to Prepare for a Catski Trip

Snowboarding and skiing are physically demanding, especially in off-piste conditions. That’s why we recommend dedicating time to training before your trip, focusing on strengthening your legs, core, and back. From our experience, following a basic workout routine leading up to your departure can significantly enhance your skiing experience.

We also suggest bringing your own ski or snowboard equipment or renting it in your home country before traveling to North Macedonia. While it is possible to rent equipment at our location, the selection is limited, and you may not find exactly what you are looking for.
