This unique gravel trip through Marrakech, the Agafay Desert and the Atlas Mountains is a bucket list experience like no other. Four varied stages await – from the rolling gravel roads of the desert to the long climbs and technical descents of the Atlas Mountains.

We start in Marrakech and get on our bikes on the very first day. From here, we ride through the open landscape towards the Agafay Desert, where we spend the night in a luxury Bedouin camp.

The following day, we continue towards the Atlas Mountains and the Ouirgane Valley, where we spend two nights. Another varied gravel stage awaits before the trip concludes with the Queen Stage – a challenging and unforgettable final day on the bike.

All in all, you can look forward to a varied and challenging gravel adventure with plenty of elevation, spectacular scenery and four days in the saddle.

Along the way, we ride some of the area’s most beautiful gravel roads, jeep tracks and light singletrack. Our experienced local guides ensure safe, carefully selected routes while also offering an authentic insight into the area and the local Berber culture.

Marrakech → Agafay → Ouirgane → Marrakech

Morocco is a country full of contrasts. From Marrakech’s colourful medina and vibrant atmosphere, we ride into the open landscapes of the Agafay Desert before continuing towards the green valleys and rugged mountain passes of the Atlas Mountains.

It is precisely this variation that makes the trip so special. Every day brings new impressions, new scents and new horizons.

WEATHER IN NOVEMBER

November is a great time to experience Morocco by gravel bike. Daytime temperatures in Marrakech and Agafay are typically around 20–24°C, while the Atlas Mountains are generally cooler. This provides ideal conditions for active cycling without the intense heat of summer.

Mornings and evenings can be chilly, particularly in the mountains, and occasional rain showers are possible. We therefore recommend bringing warm layers and a lightweight rain jacket.

It feels like you’re on top of the world when you’re standing on a mountain peak! And that’s exactly how it felt from start to finish on this trip – 100% bang for the buck and an adventure for life! A superambitious programme that let us experience the very best Morocco has to offer: incredible cycling terrain in the mountains and desert, optimal routes and – not least – stunning surroundings, glamping in the desert and amazing oases in the mountains. The trip exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely be back. A thousand thanks for an incredible experience. Highly recommended!
